Matt and Ginger Gaetz are in Phoenix for AmericaFest (AmFest) 2024. The Gaetzes attended a meet and greet for VIP members earlier today. Shortly afterward, Matt Gaetz sat for a live interview with Charlie Kirk for his namesake program, The Charlie Kirk Show.
Charlie asked Matt about several issues, including the withdrawal of his name for the Attorney General nomination. The always affable Gaetz spoke openly about his choice to withdraw, telling a cheering, standing room only crowd that his nomination would have flown through had they made up the members of the Senate.
As is typical for Kirk’s “CK Insider” members, both Kirk and Gaetz took questions from the audience. In response to questions, Gaetz encouraged a young teenager and gave advice to a hopeful political candidate from Texas.
Kirk continued his well-known opposition to corporate ownership of residential property in which he abhors the idea that everyday Americans could be forced to compete with a corporate conglomerate, such as Blackrock, for single-family homes.
Afterward, both Matt and Ginger both took time to talk to attendees of the event.
