Donald Trump, Jr, Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson, and Others Kick off America Fest

America Fest (AmFest) 2024 kicked off on December 19, 2024, in Phoenix. The group draws thousands annually to gather at one of Turning Point, USA’s official events. It is widely seen as a major catalyst for the America First movement that helped elect Donald Trump to office for both his first and second terms.
DJT, Jr., spoke on the journey he and his father had taken to Make America Great Again. Bannon spoke at length about joining the ranks of the convicted for his time in federal prison. He made clear, like Jennifer Lancaster about her removal from the RPA for 20 years, that his imprisonment is a mark of honor.
Carlson brought his classic commentary to the 50,000 or so in attendance. He compared today’s progressive liberals to his childhood friend’s mother and her embrace of feminism. He talked at length about people who refused to answer the questions he asked them. Then, in a surprise turn, he opened the floor to questions.
He was asked if he had to chose one, and only one, would he chose Ben Shapiro or Candice Owen. Carlson declined to answer that particular question.
