NEWS. Joe Biden gave his farewell address from the Oval Office yesterday. In it, he harkened back to Dwight Eisenhower (a Republican) who warned about the military-industrial complex. Biden analogized and warned about the “tech industrial complex.”
Biden continued by expressing concerns about an ultra-rich oligarchy he said was forming and leading the country. He went on to compare these businessmen to the “robber barons” of America’s early years. He was referring to a time before the 1890 Sherman Antitrust Act.
Prior to the Act, individuals like John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, and Cornelius Vanderbilt created monopolies and squashed all competition to build wealth that lasts to this day. It includes wealth in Arkansas tied to the late Winthrop Rockefeller, one of John D. Rockefeller’s children and the first Republican governor of Arkansas since Reconstruction. Rockefeller’s grandchildren are still based in and do business in the state.
Though Biden did not name those to whom he referred, the targets are likely Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Donald J. Trump himself.
ANALYSIS. Now, now, blue cow, lets slow down for a sec. What about the Soros-financial complex? You know, the guy who is funding liberal prosecutors across the country. You know, Alvin Bragg? Fannie from Atlanta? Is there no concern about ultra rich liberals funding lawfare?
Do you need to be reminded how Soros caused an economic recession in Great Britain when he shorted the pound sterling? His ridiculous wealth came at the expense of ordinary everyday people. And he uses it to promote an agenda that is openly antithetical to the values of America.
I suppose he’s not a danger because he donates to your causes.
And Zuckerberg, well, it took your DOJ jacking with his interests to flip him to the R side of life. In 2020, he let Facebook censor and run whatever you told him to do. When he stopped, you sent the DOJ after him. Thank God Elon Musk stepped up and bought Twitter so that truly free speech would have a platform. It’s working for Musk. It’s now going to work for Facebook once they get their algorithm lined out.
