Dad complains “it’s unfair.”
Just saw a headline reporting that Joe Biden has signed “a full and unconditional pardon” for his son, Hunter Biden.” So Lunchbox Joe lied again. Remember he said he’d never pardon Hunter. You could count on it, you had his word as a Biden.
Worthless word, worthless man. A 50 year career in politics and all of it corrupt.
According to Biden,
“Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted,” the outgoing president said in a statement.
“Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form. Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.”
How is granting a pardon keeping his word? Hunter was selectively and unfairly prosecuted? In what universe does this drug addicted piece of garbage claim unfair prosecution when the whole Biden family has been for sale for years and never spent a minute in court, much less jail.
Then, Biden, the man who jailed hundreds of political prisoners and engineered the lawfare against Trump with his pencil necked geek acolyte Merrick Garland, claims “the charges against his son were the result of the actions of his political opponents in Congress in order to attack him and deter Americans from supporting him in the 2020 election.”
You read that right, he’s claiming he’s the victim of vicious political attacks to deny him the presidency. Is he imagining he’s Donald Trump now?
So what was Hunter convicted of that “forced” his dad to pardon him? Well, tax evasion to the tune of $1.4 million. No doubt he did it. He admitted it. How is that unfair, selective prosecution?
And the gun charge? Poor Hunter was selectively prosecuted for lying on an ATF form 4473, where he said he wasn’t a drug user. At the time he was addicted and using. So of course Joe Biden would think he was unfairly prosecuted.
The ATF sends reports of 4473 violations to federal prosecutors, who file approximately 500 cases each year, so Hunter wasn’t singled out, he was .2% of those prosecuted that year. Doesn’t look selective unless you expect to get away with everything and you get caught.
President Biden added that the carefully negotiated plea deal had ultimately failed due to political pressure from his opponents on the legal process.
“Had the plea deal held, it would have been a fair, reasonable resolution of Hunter’s cases,” he said.
If memory serves, in June 2023, Hunter agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges for failing to pay income tax and entered a pretrial diversion program for a felony charge of unlawful firearm possession.
This agreement would have likely resulted in probation for the tax offenses and dismissal of the gun charge upon successful completion of the diversion program. However, in July 2023, a federal judge expressed concerns about the terms of the deal, leading to its collapse, per PBS
Subsequently, in September 2024, Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to nine counts of tax evasion, acknowledging his failure to pay $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019. He faced a potential sentence of up to 17 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for December 16, 2024.
So his original penalty was a soft slap on the wrist which his father considers fair, while a possible penalty after he pled guilty was extreme. It was the same penalty anyone else would have received. There are written guidelines that judges must follow when sentencing.
Joe then went on to say “No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son—and that is wrong,” Biden said. “Enough is enough.”
“I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice—and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.”
Here’s what I believe. Hunter Biden has received special treatment for most of his life. He’s never had to take responsibility for anything he’s done. His father has always been a crook and a pervert, and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Wonder what the Trump Justice Department will think of this?
We can’t ask often enough that you contribute to a charity or organization that is taking care of the hurricane victims. The government is ignoring their disaster response responsibility in favor of DEI and people need help NOW. We recommend Samaritan’s Purse or Mercury One as already on the ground and doing excellent work. Thank you.
