Arkansas Times Accused of Plagiarizing Local News Outlet

NEWS. Allegations have been made that the Arkansas Times has plagiarized media stories and images from South Arkansas Reckoning (SAR). SAR initially reported on Governor Sarah Sanders’s Superbowl trip last year. The Arkansas Times, alleges SAR, helped itself to SAR’s stories and content with asking or giving credit.

Next, SAR started noticing that Google searches turned up SAR archives on the Arkansas Times’s website. SAR has no relationship with the Times and did not give any authority for the Times to use SAR’s name, image, or likeness.
