My Message To Motorcycle Clubs And To Supporters Of The Bandido Motorcycle “Gang”

My December 21st article titled, “Is A Bar In Bryant A Front For The Bandidos ?….The Shanna Hastings Story Continues”, dealt with the relationship between the notorious Bandidos motorcycle gang and Burks Brothers Brewery & Taproom n Bryant Arkansas.
To date, the article has over 1.2 Million views and has generated thousands of responses and discussions, which is Great !
At Arkansas 1st News, we not only strive to bring you the Facts, we also strive to create discussion and yes, healthy debate so sound off !
If you agree with my take, then great !….If you don’t then give us yours and if you want to criticize me then have at it !….Lord knows I’m not shy to.
Now in those discussions of the article, some people took exception with me referring to the Bandidos as a motorcycle “Gang” instead of a motorcycle “Club”, with some others getting just plain pissed off at me about it.
Here’s my message to those folks.
There are many wonderful motorcycle “Clubs” across Arkansas along with a massive number across the country and world.
There are “Clubs” made up of Police Officers, Firefighters, EMT’s & Paramedics, Teachers, Nurses, Carpenters, Accountants, Attorneys, Plumbers and so on.
There are “Clubs” made up of mixed occupations, race, gender, religion and so on as well.
These motorcycle “Clubs” all have something in common besides motorcycles….They are not criminal organizations.
I have zero problem referring to them as “Clubs”.
Many of them provide much needed civic volunteerism along with making great charitable contributions for all the right reasons.
The Bandidos do not fall in that category….not even close.
The Fact is they are a Criminal Organization and they are….stay with me now….a motorcycle “Gang”.
The 1% patch worn on their cuts (vests) are worn as a Badge of honor representing their identity as outlaw criminals.
They are notorious across the world for drug trafficking, gun trafficking, prostitution, extortion, racketeering, theft, arson, violence, murder and more.
If you see a Bandido with an “Expect No Mercy” patch on their cut, it was awarded to them as a Badge of Honor for committing Murder on behalf of their “Gang”.
In the discussions generated by the article, some people praised the Bandidos for their charitable efforts such as participating in Christmas toy drives for children.
Okay….Criminal Organizations have always been known at local levels to participate in charitable efforts.
Smart business as it provides a needed false perception of caring for the community. Many even create and operate non-profits that are in reality used to distribute income and launder money.
From my perspective, I really don’t give a Damn how many toys the Bandidos take to toy hill or how many turkeys they give out at Christmas….They are nothing more than a self-admitted organized criminal “Gang” responsible for horrific crimes across the world….Period.
So, if you want me to refer to the Bandidos as a “Club”, well….That ain’t gonna happen….They are a criminal “Gang”.
Now if that pisses anyone off then fine.
