Now I know there is a law against impersonating a police office in our State….But is there one for impersonating a Farmer ?

I never thought one was necessary until….well….hang on let me explain.

Ballinger is challenging incumbent Senator Bryan King who represents Senate District 28….By the way King is a real Farmer.

That District is composed of Carroll and Madison Counties along with portions of Franklin, Boone, Johnson and Newton Counties.

Ballinger owns a Construction company and Tree Service, however he has claimed and mostly promoted himself as a Farmer in Madison County.

Besides posts and videos boasting those claims, Ballinger stated in an Arkansas Democrat Gazette article that he has poultry houses on his property….Remember that.

The claim of being a Farmer has come under quite a bit of scrutiny which has resulted in several people reaching out to me to investigate his claim.

All Candidates and elected officials must annually file a Statement of Financial Interest (SFI).

Part of that filing is listing sources of income along with Businesses owned and other Holdings.

Ballinger’s 2024 SFI lists income from two companies he owns, Ballinger Building Company LLC and Ballinger Tree Service LLC.

Both are registered, licensed and in good standing with the Secretary of State.

On his 2025 SFI suddenly a new source of income for Ballinger is listed to go along with his two companies…..That new income comes from Ballinger Farm.

That’s a nice optic….and just in time for campaign season right ?

The description of Ballinger Farm listed on the SFI states – Sale of cattle, eggs, & pastured meat chickens.

Huh…..Pasture Chickens….I’m sure the Coyotes, Wolves and Dogs love that.

I think they call that digressing….Anyway to be clear, Ballinger does not list Ballinger Farm as a Business Holding on the SFI.

In other words, he doesn’t claim to own Ballinger Farm.

That little tidbit really ain’t a tidbit though as Ballinger has been adamantly claiming and portraying himself as a Farmer.

Couple that with the address listed on the SFI for Ballinger Farm is, 2498 Hwy 23, Combs, AR 72721….That is the same address listed for his two companies Ballinger Building Company, LLC and Ballinger Tree Service, LLC.

Now I flunked Algebra in high school, but I ‘m smart enough to know that those two facts lead to math that doesn’t add up.

I ran Ballinger Farm through a search with the Secretary of State and guess what?….There is no Ballinger Farm registered or licensed to do business in the State….Little odd right ?

I reached out to Madison County Assessor Cristal Ogden to obtain property records that would help the math make sense.

Let me tell you Odgen was not only professional, but she also went above and beyond to get me the information I was requesting. Now add to that impressiveness that she was as nice as she could be….Contrary to popular belief there are some good people in government.

While Odgen was great, the records and information she provided only made the math more squirrelly.

Madison County has no record of assessment by Ballinger Farm….None.

No land, no buildings, no structures like a barn or poultry house, no trucks, no trailers, no tractors, no hay baler, no livestock….no anything.

By all accounts Ballinger Farm….a company Ballinger claims to be getting income from….does not exist.

The land at 2498 Hwy 23, Combs, AR ?….The land Ballinger lists as the address for his two companies and Ballinger Farm ?….Can you guess who it’s owned by ?

If you guessed Ballinger, then you got it !

The assessment for that property shows having a mobile home on it and nothing else.

The fact is the Secretary of State and the Madison County Assessor have no records to show that “Ballinger Farm” even exists…. let alone pays required licensing fees and taxes.

Ballinger is claiming that in 2025 he got over $12,500.00 of income from a Farm on his land that appears to be make believe….Kind of like the island of Neverland in Peter Pan.

Listen doing a video in front of your fathers-in-law’s cows in what appears to be new Carhartt overalls while your wife declares “we are farmers” don’t make it true.

Ballinger needs to understand that the voters in District 28 don’t live on the island of “Neverland”….They reside in the realities of their lives which they face every day.

Now I called Ballinger to talk about the issue. He didn’t answer so I left him a voice mail and texted asking him to call me.

I have not received a reply….What does it say that I didn’t expect one ?

Look….While impersonating a Farmer for political purposes isn’t up there with impersonating a Police Officer, it’s still pretty bad.

If Ballinger does end up in the Senate, I wonder if he would sponsor legislation to make that illegal ???…..A Bookie would drool to take that bet.

That’s Facts….not Fiction.

NOTE: In a couple of days, I will publish an article on Governor Sanders and her favorite Cottonmouths endorsing Ballinger and pumping money into his campaign….I bet you don’t even have to ask why.
