Representative Wayne Long….Conservative To Cottonmouth

At the Swamp we call the State Capitol we expect Cottonmouths like Representative David Ray and Senator Missy Irvin to lead and vote for legislation that puts profits over people and takes away our rights and freedoms….I mean they are what they are.

It’s disappointing when someone who promotes himself to be willing to hold the line on conservative and liberty issues but then deserts from that post….Meet Wayne Long.

Long is the District 39 State Representative out of the city of Bradford in White County. He has always promoted himself as a diehard Conservative pledging to fight for and protect our Liberties.

He has proven this session to be anything but what he promotes himself and cannot hide his scales and fangs any longer….While that deeply disappoints Conservatives around the State it has the Cottonmouths at the Capitol smiling.

House Bill 1204, now Act 28, was presented and backed by out-of-State insurance companies. It takes damages away from Arkansas victims and puts that money in the pockets of insurance companies….Profits over People.

While Representative Matt Duffield and Senator Clint Penzo were holding the line for Arkansans….Long deserted them.

Senator Kim Hammer’s series of six Bills, (SB207-212)  which devastate Arkansans’ rights and liberties to amend their State Constitution has gained Long’s passionate support.

Five of those six Bills are about to become law and while true Conservatives who care about liberty like Representative Richard Womack and Senator Bryan King are holding the line for Arkansans….Long is deserting them.

So what happened to Long ?…..What changed him from Conservative to Cottonmouth ?….Has the Queen of the Swamp enticed him to turn his back on Arkansans and pledge loyalty to her while joining her army of Cottonmouths ?….I don’t know.

I do know two things though.

1 – The Swamp Party is in charge of our State and 2 -….I’ll never stop fighting them.
