Over the years, Arkansas Democrats have always played a strong role in national politics, from influential Senator William Fulbright (longest-serving Chair of Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee) to former Ways & Means Chairman Wilbur Mills (“the most powerful man in Washington”) and, oh yes, don’t forget former President Bill Clinton. However, in 2025 Arkansas’ role is perhaps even more influential than it’s ever been. Did you know that all six of our Republican D.C. delegation hold Chairmanships or lead prominent committees in Congress now?
District 1 Rep. Rick Crawford
Chairman of House Intelligence Committee
District 2 Rep. French Hill
Chairman of House Financial Services Committee
District 3 Rep. Bruce Westerman
Chair, House Committee on Natural Resources
District 4 Rep. Steve Womack
Chair, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Subcommittee
Senator Tom Cotton
Chair, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
Senator John Boozman
Chair, Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee
Chair, Senate Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies (MilCon-VA) Appropriations Subcommittee
It’s true we are living through historic changes in government, public policy, foreign relations, finances, and everything else as President Donald J. Trump carries out the voters’ mandate to Make America Great Again. We’re watching to see how our D.C. delegation represents the MAGA agenda “on the Hill,” hoping for big Arkansas Republican voices in Washington, just as Arkansas Democrats so strongly influenced and shaped policy in the past. All eyes on you, Arkansas Republican Senators and Representatives!

God’s child, Arkansas conservatarian
