Charlie Kirk Targets Boozman as a "Red State Senator"

Amid concerns that Republican establishment Senators could block President Trump’s cabinet nominees, Senator John Boozman has now met with Pete Hegseth, Trump’s Defense Secretary nominee currently under scrutiny in the Senate.

The move comes after Matt Gaetz was pushed out as the Attorney General nominee in late November. Conservative activist Charlie Kirk is calling out “red state Senators” from “very red states” who don’t support President Trump’s cabinet nominees because they “just want power” — and he named Boozman as one of them.

Kirk is targeting “red state Senators” in his “Give Trump His Cabinet” tour that he describes as “encouragement” but also a “pressure campaign” to help ensure that Republicans in the Senate approve all of President Trump’s staff picks.
