Republican voters’ insistence on following the Republican platform is a critical inflection point that predicts the direction the Republican Party of Arkansas will take as it continues to wage war against its own Party members.
For America First/Arkansas First voters, it’s inter-related to the “any R is better than a D“ argument that sparked this fiery exchange between fellow Republicans Jimmie Cavin, Jennifer Lancaster, and Dave Elswick on Elswick’s talk radio show last August — an exchange that old guard Republicans used against both Cavin and Lancaster as part of their unprecedented banishment from the Republican Party.
While the RPA — by its very actions — rejects the idea of adhering to its own stated platform, House Oversight Republicans have now singled out REPUBLICAN Congresswoman Liz Cheney for criminal prosecution for tampering with witness Cassidy Hutchinson. For years we’ve all seen Cheney thumb her nose at the Republican platform and values it represents.
Is Cheney Better?
Now we must ask, how is Republican Cheney any better than a “D”?
According to Just The News, the House Oversight Subcommittee released its interim report that concludes that January 6 was preventable and says about Republican Cheney:
Based on the evidence obtained by this Subcommittee, numerous federal laws were likely broken by Liz Cheney, the former Vice Chair of the January 6 Select Committee, and these violations should be investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
That’s House Republicans who released the report. Get your popcorn and watch to see what the Republican-majority Congress does with that recommendation.
Any “R” is better than any “D”? We can’t hear your words, RPA, when Republicans’ actions speak louder!

God’s child, Arkansas conservatarian
