How To Make Drag Queens Mad Without Trying….Turns Out It’s Pretty Easy

Last Thursday March 10^th, I posted about how that day a House Committee Chairwoman took issue with the top two buttons on my shirt left undone.

The reality is, the Chair and other members of the Legislature really don’t have a problem with how I dress, they have a problem with me standing on issues with Facts and Truth.

I stated in the post – “Now I have seen Drag Queens and others testify in Committees that wouldn’t pass the Walmart Dress Code but my shirt with two buttons undone doesn’t make the cut???”

I knew the post would be entertaining, however I never dreamed it would grab so many people.

In the post I included a picture of me in the shirt I wore that day and of a Drag Queen that had spoken in a Committee meeting in the 2023 session….Here they are –

The statement was to make a point in a funny way and, like all politically incorrect humor, it landed with some and missed with others.

I knew when I made the Post I was inviting criticism for how I wear that particular shirt and my comments….By the way Mom, (my wife), got me that shirt and even though it has sleeves it’s my favorite.

Anyhow, many commented that it was just fine, with many others commenting that it was inappropriate…. that I looked like a slob and a drunk….Really some of the nicer things that have been said to me on social media.

I’m sure at this point you are saying – “Jimmie !….Get to the Drag Queens that’s what we wanna hear about !”….I’m almost there stay with me.

If you do what I do and negative comments along with criticism “hurt your little feelings” then you need to shut up and take it to tha house.

I’ve had many people tell me on social media my mother should have had an abortion and that’s not even close to the worst I’ve gotten.

People for years have photo-shopped me and created memes about me. Here are a couple of examples –

The first one I give an 8 for originality and humor….The second one I give a 2….Nothing there.

Why I tell you all of that will be obvious after reading the next part of the article.

Drag Queens….Here we go.

I never saw one comment complaining about the Walmart Dress code reference or their shoppers, however by the comments it appears I have pissed off every Drag Queen in the State of Arkansas….This has truly been a “teachable moment” for me as I had no idea there were that many around here….Learn something new every day.

Here are just a few of the nicer comments –

Now I didn’t know until I read some of these comments that the name of the Drag Queen in the post is Athena Sinclair.

Mr. Sinclair commented on the post with the following –

“I’ve tried to avoid commenting or giving any of this my attention but at this point I’ve been tagged so many times that I’m going to speak. LEAVE MYSELF AND OTHER DRAG QUEENS ALONE! If I would have been dressed anything like you I would have been asked to leave, not just not given the opportunity to speak. Rather than realizing that you should have at least tried to be presentable you’re trying to make a jab at me ( like you’ve done many times over the years ) all because you don’t agree with our choice to do the artform of drag. I’m sure you’ll delete my comment, but don’t post a half cut photo of what I had on to try to “prove” your point. The photo I’ve posted was taken 2 minutes after yours, which was two years ago btw. Happy to see I’m still on you mind tho  See how I’m fully covered from head to toe. Very demure, very mindful.”

Okay….Allow me to respond.

Demure ???

Demure is defined as – reserved, modest, and shy….You really think you looked that way when you testified ?….I can hear ya cluck’n but I can’t find your nest.

Athena said he’s still on my mind and I have been taking shots at him for years…Well now…Do tell.

Athena I didn’t even know who the hell you were until you commented. I remembered a Drag Queen speaking in committee in 2023 and googled that to get the photo.

Athena I don’t keep up with the Drag Queen circuit just like I don’t keep up with professional Soccer….Neither are entertaining to me, although I did like the movie “Birdcage”….Nathan Lane should have won an Oscar for that.

Leave you and other Drag Queens alone ?….Loosen up tha spanx man….I’m not picking on you or them.

I made a point illustrating myself, Drag Queens and Walmart Shoppers….Again of which I am one.

Question ?….If the reference to Drag Queens offended you so bad, why didn’t the comment about the Walmart shoppers ruffle your panty hose ?….Or are you above them ?

Their feelings may be hurt that your feelings weren’t hurt that their feelings were hurt….Hell now I’m dizzy.

Look man if you wanna dress up in Drag then knock yourself out. I don’t care how you dress which is my point on speaking before legislative committees at the Capitol.

I’m interested in hearing what people say at committee….Not how they look or who they are.

And if you were at a Public Meeting and someone said you were not allowed to speak based off how you were dressed then I would stand up and fight for your right to be heard whether I liked you or what you had to say….Even if you didn’t look “Demure”.

Athena I replied to your comment asking if you would like to join me on a podcast to discuss the matter, but I haven’t heard back from you. If you change your mind, the offer still goes.

Now….I realize I’m loud and not politically correct however….if you and others are offended by what I said, then please let me take this opportunity to humbly say….Want some cheese with that whine ?
