Hey gang it’s Jimmie.
Fort Smith native Joe McCutchen passed away on August 9th at the age of 93.
If his name sounds familiar, it’s because he was the father of Joey McCutchen, the Fort Smith attorney who is widely known for following in Joe’s footsteps by not only being one of the State’s top Conservatives but by also battling corruption in Government, along with fighting for the Rights and Freedoms of others.
After his father’s death, Joey shared with me an article written in 2016 by a man named Michael Gaddy, in which Gaddy put pen to paper detailing how Joey’s father defined a Conservative.
With Joey’s permission, Arkansas 1st News is publishing that article, not just because it is a wonderful fitting tribute to Mr. McCutchen, but also because of its Powerful 90 second message that desperately needs to be heard…..Especially if you are a Public Official.
The definition of Conservatism cannot be found in the Republican Party of Arkansas….The Governor’s Office….The Attorney General’s Office….The Secretary of State’s Office….or, with the exception of a few, the State Legislature.
That needs to change !
