The Republican 2nd Congressional District elected the following “preferred” slate of officers for the next two years at today’s biennial District meeting held in Little Rock at the RPA headquarters. No visitors or non-delegates were allowed to attend.

1VP: Becky McHughes (Pulaski County)
2VP: Kevin Johnson (Van Buren County)
Secretary: Rachel Lisembee (Cleburne County)
Treasurer: Denise Drye (White County)
District Representative to the Appointee Recommendations Committee: Grant Smith (White County)
District Representative to the State Executive Committee: Steve Smith (Cleburne County)
District Representatives to the State Committee:
Rob Steinbuch (Pulaski County)
Mark Brannon (Faulkner County)
Heather Smith (Cleburne County)
Deedra Johnson (Van Buren County)
The stated purpose of the Congressional District Committee is to “recruit and elect a Republican Congressman, serve the counties and assist them to grow and develop and assist them in the recruitment and election of qualified Republican Candidates, as well as to elect delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention.”
