Last Sunday, I brought you the story of Conway Athletic Director Greg Hughes’ admitted inappropriate contact with a student.

I announced in the article I was going to do a thorough investigation into the handling of the incident which I am in the process of doing.

In the article I brought up that Elementary teacher Barbara Tucker was recently terminated for physical contact with a student.

My investigation has produced a video of the contact involving Tucker and the student.

Here is the video of the contact involving Hughes and a student.

Personally, I don’t think either one is a big deal however Interim Superintendent Jason Black determined Tucker needed to be terminated for that physical contact with the student, yet he is taking no action against Hughes for his physical contact with a student even though that contact is clearly more aggressive.

The District made clear during the Tucker termination hearing that it is never acceptable to put hands on a student….Never.

So how is this not a double standard ?

One is a mere teacher, and one is a member of Black’s Administration Country Club.

And then there is the tie-in to the termination of Basketball Coach Ben Lindsey….Hughes was very instrumental in getting Lindsey fired.

In a few days I will have a new article out bringing more records and facts, taken from the Tucker and Lindsey termination hearings, which will show the clear Hypocrisy by Black, his Administration and many Board members.
